Solwave
2026 / Independent
A brand identity system for a solar energy company.
Solwave designs and installs solar panels and battery systems for homes and businesses. It also develops products including solar streetlights for government projects.
I developed an identity that could work across product interfaces, packaging, stationery, and field hardware.

Brand Pillars
Sustainability
Building solar systems that reduce
dependence on conventional energy.
Innovation
Using solar technology across energy
generation, storage, and monitoring.
Reliability
Designing systems for consistent energy performance.
Scalability
Serving homes, businesses, and larger installations.
Expertise
Working across installation, products, and energy systems.

Solar energy is generated, stored, and used. I translated that movement into an S for Solwave, using overlapping wave forms to create the letter.
I carried the identity across print and product applications, including the design of an energy monitoring interface.

generation
reserve
I organised the interface around system status, energy generation, and reserve levels, using large numbers to make the main readings easy to find.
In the project presentation, I placed physical cables around the screen to show the connection between the interface and the solar hardware.
